Burning Man is an event focused on community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance held annually in the western United States. After 3 years of attending and photographing s a passion, I was recognised and invited by the organisation to join the documentation team for an official role of photographing this incredible yearly spectacle.

After moving to Freshwater during lockdown, I finally took the plunge into the underwater photography world since I was only allowed out in a 5km radius. It proved a great move as I soon became obsessed about ‘collecting them all’ in terms of local surfers.

It has become an almost daily routine to head out for sunrise or sunset and capture the coastal lifestyle and nature. I’ve also been lucky enough to catch bioluminescence, dolphin pods, and whales migrating.

Using a mixture of long lens, wide lens and drone I have built up a library of landscapes from my adventures. Some from abroad, some from around home, where ever that is.

It started as a hobby and soon grew into an addiction and then into a business. Nature has driven my photography career by pushing me to discover new innovative ways to capture and create unique images with the latest technology.

I cover almost all forms of wildlife photography including aerial (drone) to long telephoto lens and recently, specialising in infrared remote triggers for camera trapping.

I pride myself in capturing the real moments of events. With over 12 years of experience I have mastered the art of capturing diverse occasions of all shapes and sizes. By participating and involving myself through both spontaneous and planned shots I am right inside the action as if I was which gives me the ability to capture the essence of events. 

Indoors, outdoors, desert, Arctic, dust or rain - all my gear is weather sealed and I come fully prepared for any conditions you can throw at me. The more extreme, the better!
